At Open Path Node, we are committed to providing exceptional hair styling services and products. We want you to be completely satisfied with your experience with us. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which we offer refunds for our services and products.
By booking services or purchasing products from Open Path Node, you agree to this Refund Policy. Please read it carefully to understand our refund procedures.
2. Refund Policy for Services
2.1 Appointment Cancellation
We understand that schedules can change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
- Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled appointment: Full refund of any deposit or prepayment.
- Cancellations made between 24-48 hours before the scheduled appointment: 50% refund of any deposit or prepayment.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment: No refund will be provided.

2.2 Unsatisfactory Service
If you are not satisfied with the service you received, please notify us within 7 days of your appointment. We will do one of the following at our discretion:
- Offer a corrective service at no additional cost
- Provide a partial refund based on the nature of the dissatisfaction
- Issue a full refund in cases where we cannot reasonably correct the issue
To request a service correction or refund, please contact our customer service team with details of your appointment, the issue you experienced, and, if possible, photos showing the issue.
2.3 Special Event Services
For wedding, prom, or other special event hair styling services:
- A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.
- Cancellations made 30 days or more before the event date: 50% of the remaining balance will be refunded.
- Cancellations made less than 30 days before the event date: No refund will be provided.
We strongly recommend scheduling a trial session before your event to ensure we can achieve your desired look.
3. Refund Policy for Products
3.1 Unopened Products
We accept returns of unopened, unused products within 14 days of purchase. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, in its original packaging, and with the receipt or proof of purchase.
3.2 Opened Products
If a product is opened or used and you are not satisfied with it, we may accept returns within 7 days of purchase under the following conditions:
- The product caused an adverse reaction (a medical note may be required)
- The product is defective
- The product significantly differs from its description
In these cases, we may offer a refund, exchange, or store credit at our discretion.
3.3 Sale Items
Items that are on sale or marked as clearance are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are defective.
4. Refund Processing
4.1 Refund Methods
Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase:
- Credit/Debit Card Payments: Refunded to the same card used for purchase
- Cash Payments: Refunded in cash if in-person, or by bank transfer if requested remotely
- Bank Transfers: Refunded to the originating account
4.2 Refund Timeline
Once your refund request is approved:
- Credit/Debit Card refunds typically process within 5-10 business days, depending on your card issuer
- Bank transfers typically process within 3-5 business days
- Cash refunds are provided immediately if in-person
Please note that depending on your payment provider, it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account.
4.3 Refund Processing Fee
Open Path Node does not charge any processing fees for refunds. However, please be aware that some payment providers may deduct a processing fee from your refund amount, which is beyond our control.
5. Exceptions to Refund Policy
The following situations are not eligible for refunds:
- Services where the client was late and received a shortened service as a result
- Cases where the client provided incorrect instructions or information that affected the service outcome
- When a client changes their mind about a style after the service is completed according to their initial request
- Gift certificates and prepaid service packages (though they may be transferable to another person)
- Products that have been extensively used (more than 25% consumed)
- Products that have been damaged after purchase due to improper handling

6.1 For Services

To return a product and request a refund:

We recommend using a trackable shipping service if returning products by mail.
